MELTDOWN" by Drake peaked at number three on the charts, while "FE!N" by Playboi Carti and Sheck Wes peaked at number five.

Nobody was at all surprised to learn that Travis Scott's UTOPIA had a phenomenal commercial performance. Furthermore, according to official sales figures, the album sold 496K units in its first week of availability, which ran from July 28 to August 3. As a result, it became the Houston musician's third album to peak at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart, and two of its tracks were included in the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart. These also include "MELTDOWN" featuring Drake and "FE!N" with Sheck Wes and Playboi Carti. This is the biggest opening for a hip-hop and R&B album this year and the third biggest overall in 2023.







Press releases, Luminate, and Billboard have provided the chart data in question, which attests to the project's success. To be more specific, UTOPIA received over 650 million global streams and generated 243,000 album-equivalent units. Naturally, this means that Travis Scott's album had one of the biggest first-day streaming debuts of any album released in 2023 on Apple Music and Spotify. The second-largest physical sales week of the year thus far, on the other hand, had physical sales of 252,000 units.
