Emmy Awards Postponed Due To Hollywood Strikes
The Emmy Awards have been postponed until January due to Hollywood strikes.

Originally scheduled for September, the awards ceremony will now take place in mid-January next year. A-list stars and nominees would not currently be allowed to attend the Emmys due to the strike, which would negatively impact television ratings. This is the first time the Emmys have been delayed since 2001, following the 9/11 attacks. On the picket lines last month, members of the much bigger Screen Actors Guild (SAG-AFTRA) joined the Writers Guild of America (WGA).
