Apple Music Now Includes A New Algorithmic Station That Helps Customers Find New Songs
To compete with Spotify's personalized lists, Apple Music has launched a new algorithmic radio channel named "Discovery Station" to the app.
Since years, the Apple rival service with a Swedish base has provided its recognizable "Discover" playlists. In response, Apple Music has begun introducing the new station for discovering new music.
Only brand-new music that you haven't heard before are played on the Discovery Station; these are all songs that aren't on your playlists, that you don't like, or that aren't in your collection. 'New Music Mix' is already available on Apple Music, but it only includes 25 tracks and is updated once a week.
Apple dropped 0.7% Crossfading will now be used in music to create seamless song transitions. This function ensures uninterrupted playback of the music on the app (at least for iOS). While casual listeners might not notice much of a difference, some audiophiles have been waiting for this for a while.
